In just a few short weeks, spring will be back. Hooray! Back in September we ooh'd and ahh'd over the spring fashions that we (hoped) would hit the stores in time for warmer weather and bluer skies.  Of course when you're talking about new clothes, you can't foget about gorgeous eye makeup, great lip colors to try and more. Here are five spring beauty trends that you can wear now, whether or not there's a bluebird singing on a green tree limb.

1. Matte eyes

From the runways of Derek Lam and Jason Wu, designers are trading in the traditional black eyeliner for brighter cheerier colors like yellow, berry, and green. Eyes were amped with swipes of neon color. To keep it from smudging coat lids with a thin layer of concealer and powder before applying your crayola colored eyeliner. One brand that offers a range of these technicolor liners are M.A.C.. Try their chromaline in primary yellow.

2. Lip juicy matte color

Bright cheery colors aren’t only seen on eyelids this season it’s also written all over our lips. Puckers popped on the runways of Milly and Diane Von Furstenburg. Pumped up watermelon and cantelope colors coincided perfectly with this seasons neon color blocking trend. Not to mention, these lips aren’t about to stick to your flyaway locks like the typical lipgloss. You can get this look easily with the stuff you already have in your make-up bag. Dust a bright blush or translucent blush over a pink lipstick.

3. The bun

Twisted whether low or high, the bun is all over the runways of designers like Chloe, Marchesa, and Oscar de La Renta. While some were imperfectly shaped and some tightly twisted, the bun was simply and classically beautiful. The style draws focus on the two big ( very different) trends this season natural and bright makeup and clothing.

4. Nude nails

A natural manicure creates a slimmer, clean, and polished look. Some designers like Prabal Gurung have spiced up this great look with a single bright colored stripe. Try this look with a eyeliner brush dipped in coral. Stripe your neutral nail with a coral horizontal stripe.

5. Pinky blush

The perfect pink can create a fun and flirty look. NARS has a Sexrgasm color that is super sexy, and creates a great pink afterglow. Make sure to apply to the apples of your cheeks to rev up your complexion and bring attention to your eyes and give the illusion of a slimmer face. High beam by Benefit is in liquid form in a baby pink shimmer. This would give you a great natural pink color thatwould glisten in the sun, and accentuate your cheekbones.
