Designer Richard Chai’s Richard Chai Love label showed early (for us) Thursday morning. Fall for Richard’s men and women is preppy/collegiate with an industrial, Eastern Bloc vibe -- big, loose sweaters, tightly tailored (yet oversized) blazers, straight leg pants and lots of pleated skirts. Oh, and calf length socks with heels.

Amidst a sea of a hipper / grungier version of Ralph Lauren’s prepsters, one dress stood out -- see above. The colors were brighter in person. We loved the sleekness of it, the solid yoke waist placket and the belt. This could very well become our go-to dress this fall.
