Remember when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie put their Malibu beach house on the market back at the end of August? Well, they finally found a buyer, and it is none other than Ellen DeGeneres!

According to People, transactions were completed on Friday to finalize Ellen’s purchase of the house for a cool $12 million, about $2 million shy of Brad's asking price of $13.75 million. We first heard about Ellen’s interest in the house around Thanksgiving; back in October, she and wife Portia De Rossi put their Beverly Hills home (which had, it should be noted, been featured in Architectural Digest) on the market for $49 million. Ellen and Portia’s old house covered about 15,000 square feet, which means they’ll be downsizing a bit, as Brad’s former home covers only 4,000 square feet.

But what of the house itself? You might recall that Mean Betty had a little difficulty understanding exactly what Brad’s beach home looked like. It was built in 1962, an era not known for its architectural genius, and as such, it’s a ranch-style home; however, it’s also two stories, which is directly counter to the definition of a ranch house, and it’s split over two buildings. Weird? Weird.

It does, however have four bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as spectacular ocean views, 3 fireplaces, a tennis court, and beach access to a private cove, according to Realtor.com. Angelina and Brad were apparently using two of the four bedrooms as offices at the time the house went on the market—which kind of makes me scratch my head. Were all six of their kids crammed into one bedroom? I guess it must have been a pretty massive room…

Okay, to be fair, the house was technically just Brad’s, so maybe he, Angelina, and the kids weren’t all holed up there. In any event, it sounds like a pretty good size for a couple, so no doubt Ellen and Portia will find it quite cozy. Want pictures? Here are a few:
