Even though Dakota has been making films since she was 6, Dakota preferred to attend regular, albeit private schools than going the home schooling route. When Dakota appeared on the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, she spoke about her upcoming prom, "I didn't think I was going to be able to go and then two days before I decided to go and I had to find a dress and get ready at the last minute, but it was really fun. The theme was enchanted garden." Dakota was Homecoming Queen two years in a row and also a member of Campbell Hall’s cheering squad. Talk about school spirit!
In the fall, Dakota will be a freshman at NYU. Congrats and the best of luck to you, Dakota!
